In June 1st in one of the areas of the Kirovograd city a team of volunteers of New Hope Ukraine in cooperation
with volunteers of the local church “Dzerelo Zhyttia” (Spring of Life) organized and held a wonderful fest on occasion of Children’s Day. Several days before our team distributed fliers and ads around the area. Many children, parents and grandparents responded to invitation by visiting the fest.
First we wanted to get know children and to communicate with parents. Later we all sang Christian songs and our team told children a short story from the Super Book series. Sport activities were the larger part of the event.
Children alongside with their parents cheered their friends up, had fun and good time together. At the end of the fest all children had got little gifts. All participants – children, young people and parents – were in great mood, got positive emotions and new friends.
There were more than 50 children at the fest event. We aim to do such meetings on regular basis during summer time.
